This volume opened with a very steamy scene.
Then things got very dramatic. Choko! I hope she is truly gone now.
Yuri's old friend, I don't like him. It seems he hasn't seen her in years and thinks because he knows her family he can tell her what to do. She's an adult, he may not like her choices, and his concern might be real, but bro... you can't manhandle her. I have a feeling this isn't the last we'll see if Jin, he's going to cause a lot of problems for Yuri.
I always like it when an outside force reminds us (and Yuri) that Oya can be dangerous. I love how gentle and sweet he is with Yuri, but I really like when his dark side shows. It makes the soft and sweet moments feel more special.

I'm halfway through the series now and I feel like the only interesting aspects of the couple is when an outside force is trying to break them up 😆 that's when we see the MMC's true Yakuza nature. He's mostly a softie-for-her trope and I want the anime angst I guess...
In this issue specifically, there was another happening that is heading towards a resolution WAY too fast. At least we see a glimmer of the unhinged violent side I'd expect of a mafia boss...

Still liking this series a lot. It's a fun spicy read, however I'm not sure how I'll feel about the next volume. The cliffhanger in this one was a bit over the top.

Omg, it picks *right* back up where vol. five left us at! It was adorable and cute and silly/melodramatic, but definitely took a hard turn at the end.
