I like this series as it's a lot of fun and the ghosts are very entertaining. Solid mystery that kept me guessing and well plotted.
I think there's a lot of potential even if I'm not a huge fan of the MC at the moment as I found her a bit flat.
Recommended.
Many thanks to the publisher for this arc, all opinions are mine

High Spirits is the second book in the Haunted Haven series, which takes place in Florida during Christmas.  Not only is the setting my favorite place, but it’s such a perfect cozy mystery.  I love this series!  It has everything I want; haunts, cozy, Florida atmosphere, and a light murder mystery.  It’s the perfect kind of book to read after a heavy horror book, like The Shining.  This book can be read as a standalone, but I’d read both to get the full effect.  They’re just too cute and cozy not to!  I love the characters in this series, especially the ghosts.  The murder mystery is a one of a kind story that’ll keep you guessing until the end.  My only qualm is the ending.  It felt a little rushed, the whole villain reveal and the wrap up.  I was just expecting a little more.  It does have some loose ends, so I can’t wait to find out what Maureen discovers in the next book!  This would be a perfect cozy mystery for the holiday season.  Preorder your copy now!

Thank you so much @kensingtonbooks and Carol Perry for this gifted copy!  I absolutely love this series.  I can’t wait for more adventures!
