Book 51 for 2022! 4/5 stars for this adult superhero book! More hilarious "puppy" demons and antics in this book! Absolutely loving this series so far! Highly recommend!

The way the author writes about sex gets on my nerves a bit, but everything else is good mindless fun.

Loved seeing Annie take on a major life change! She had so many external factors going on, and she really pushed herself to deal with them. And the other characters kept growing too!

4.5 stars. It was fun and light and interesting to see the characters from a new perspective, but in the denouement they just kind of explained everything instead of letting characters really figure it out from the clues which felt heavy handed

I'm upset with myself for finishing this book so quickly, if that's any indication of how much I loved it. Like what am I supposed to do now without Annie and Evie in my life? Their adventures and friendship are the kind of thing I wish I had seen growing up in my books. I had the best time watching them grow and learn from each other, and it certainly doesn't hurt that their banter is delightful and just so much fun to read. I'm really gonna miss these two, and their crew, and I would be 1000% here for a book 3. Thank you for this incredible series, Sarah Kuhn!

An excellent follow-up to Heroine Complex - I never expected after loving Evie so much in the first book to relate so hard to Annie/Aveda in Heroine Worship! This book focus on recovering from cultural pressure, growing past your own flaws, and invisible demon puppies. What's not to love?
Moderate: Bullying and Racism
The bullying and racism are for the most part in the past, but decent discussion is given to our largely POC cast about the pressures of being a WOC who is a Superhero.amyho's review against another edition

Also fun but not as fun. Being sick has been good for my reading challenge
