I loved this read! I’m so happy that this books focuses more on Signa’s relationships to the Hawthorne and of course Blythe!!! Blythe has to be my favorite character and I cannot wait to read more of her story in Wisteria!
*Spoilers:* I had guessed early on that Blythe would be Life, but the author did a great job of throwing me off track with Signa’s supernatural experiences!
I thought solving the murder was more of a subplot in this book and the focus was more on Fate. Which, I didn’t mind since I’m not the biggest fan of murder mysteries.
I cannot wait to read Wisteria!

Foxglove does not suffer from Second Book Syndrome. I enjoyed Belladonna, but this book is where I feel I was able to connect with the characters and the introduction of Fate just made the stakes so much higher and complex.
I was much more interested in figuring out Fate in this book than I was about Death and honestly found Death to be a bit plain in this book but I believe that was intentional. Signa, of course, is such a great main chracter, but I’m excited for the torch to be handed to Blythe. This did a great job at advancing the plot while transitioning to a new character.
