im inspired to change my rating after thinking on it. this was a not that great romance. the characters didn't feel fleshed out and i didnt feel like we were given much of a reason to root for them to be together. i loved this author's debut, so I feel like maybe the issue was more with me than the book. i don't know.

This was such a sweet second-chance love story! Loved the Indian cultural representation. I enjoyed the humor. I wanted to know Nikhil a little more, since it was all Meena’s POV. He’s definitely a man written by a woman! :) Miscommunication in love stories always makes me so frustrated especially when it costs the FMC and MMC so much time apart. But that’s what keeps you hooked right? Haha.

Going with 3.5 for this one. This was a short easy lighthearted read. The story between Meena and Nikhil was sweet but the plot wasn’t overly original and felt a bit far fetched at times.
