Full of yearning and with a heavy dose of reluctant self reflection, this second chance romance is based around miscommunication, but not one particular thing, just ongoing bad communication which felt frustratingly relatable and human. While I cringed at aches for the characters, I was also cheering for them and choking up when they got things right.
More therapy would have been good, but I liked that there was more magic fix and everyone knew it.

I really liked the FMC’s career in politics and the premise was cute as well. There was something missing though. The whole premise was bad on miscommunication which lasted half the book and while I understand why, it was unsatisfying. It was also strange to me that neither of them seemed to have any friends? Seeing them be whole people would have been nice, maybe getting his perspective?

Naina is my new favourite author.

Argh the way that I was invested from the get go! I absolutely love the characters and the way that they navigated this journey. It was so refreshing to read a second chance romance with believable obstacles, real heart, and amazing chemistry.

The romance is swoon worthy and makes you root for the couple.

Her writing feels like a movie, and I can see some Sweet Home Alabama and What Happens in Vegas in the story.

All the stars!
