very sweet, 4/5 based on enjoyment but the writing (more so the execution) is more of a 2/5. could’ve done with being 50 pages longer, a few things felt unresolved and underdeveloped, and there were a few plot points that were essentially dropped with how hastily they were wrapped up (big things and conflicts brushed aside with essentially a couple of sentences) which eroded my emersion. nonetheless i thoroughly enjoyed this, hence why it took me literally less than two days to read, and there is a serious DRAUGHT of lesbian romance tales, especially the lighthearted soppy ones we deserve, so i’m really glad this exists.

anyway, someone tell hawkins you gotta actually develop your characters before you throw in the angst and you can't do that at the very end bc pacing does matter
