A worthy classic is an understatement. I personally loved this book and the contents. I find that it could be a great read for almost anyone, young and old. Whether you love animal fables, classics, or just a good compelling story, this book is a must.

Absolutely masterful start to finish. The rabbit-lore of El-Ahrairah and his many adventures was so wonderfully atmospheric, combined with the thought and care that went into the language and inferiority of the rabbits — to say nothing of the plot itself. An absolute classic that I can’t believe I never read before now.

This made me feel like a little kid again which I know isn’t an easy feat. I was squirming reading this feeling so tense and anxious for battle rabbits in a society some parts even felt apocalyptic. An absolute page-turner this was awesome

I've always been interested in this book, telling myself I'd read it later, but I finally caved after I watched the BBC adaptation, followed by the old movie. 

This book is truly something special, and while the depiction of the does is sometimes somewhat questionable, the worldbuilding and characters still hold up after so many years.

Bigwig and Fiver will forever stay in my heart, I can't wait to buy the graphic novel when I get the chance.
