I don't love the hypersexualization of women but the art is great, especially the watercolor character studies of the gods/goddesses you meet in each chapter. I laughed out loud at the Bilquis scene. The story is intriguing and obviously well-researched. I think I would care more about Shadow if I were reading the book itself (which I never have, and probably won't), rather than the GN.

This was AH MAZE ING! Philip Craig Russell and Scott Hampton really brought Neil's story to life. I'm excited to see the next one.

Reading in sequence with the book but found this volume to read worse than the novel. The artwork isn’t really for me and what should be visually enthralling, ends up messy and flat on the pages. The plot is certainly original and for someone into mythology and gods, I thought I’d have loved this more, but sadly just wasn’t as good as I’d hoped.

No sé qué chucha ponerle de clasificación porque es literal solo la introducción... debí comprarlo mínimo junto a los 3 números siguientes cuando seguían baratos

Read the book first! Then come back for this nice edition, it's nicely illustrated and looks very good on your bookshelf.

Gorgeous artwork to go with the story. Doesn't seem to matter what medium this story is in, it's one of the best. Definitely an adult book, not meant for the kiddies.

No me convencen el formato comic ni el dibujo, me quedo con la novela original.

This is a really great adaptation of Neil Gaiman's book. It has made me fall in love with the story all over again.
