I was looking for a comic that addressed poverty and inequality and the first two issues in this volume does that beautiful by bringing in some diversity to the avengers story. Red wolf is a compelling character and the struggles he faces are a must read.

Makes more promises than it can keep; but let's face it - it's not as though Marvel coined the concept of the hard traveling archer righting wrongs all over America. This takes place in the space between Civil War II & Secret Empire, so Hawk's where we like him, disrespected and struggling. Good art, okay dialogue, fun story, good supporting cast. Nice little Red Wolf history, too.
