Just reread it and it is as fun as the first time. The drawings use lots of earth towns and don’t overwhelm, just add to the cuteness, the story is well written and has ups and downs but never loses its cuteness. 
It’s a nice book to just have a quick read and be happy and feel more welcomed and wholesome after that.

I felt this book was a little too fast paced. The story was cute and I love the characters, but I felt it was rushed. There's so much backstory and character development missing. I think this would have been better as a series.

I liked it. It's a short and sweet story with interesting characters and lovely vibrant artwork by Wendy Xu. Loooved the grandmas.

I thought it was too fast-paced and predictable, and maybe would have been better as a multi-book series.

Cute and so diverse! A deaf, Jewish, queer character raised by lesbian grandparents. Awesome. I just didn't love the plot as much as I had hoped.
