Another book about Agatha Raisin.
I like this character. She is strong and she does not care what people think about her to get her job done. This is a trait I massively wish I had as I am the total opposite.
I really liked the descriptions of the village of Carsley. I can almost imagine a map of it in my head. I really like the other background characters in the book too. They all have intriguing personalities and different characteristics and mannerisms.
I disliked James. I also disliked Agatha's response to him. She has shamelessly throwing herself at him which just seemed wrong. If Agatha gets a man it should be tactful and clever but I must forgive her as it has been a long time since she was romantically linked. I disliked James responses to her. He seems very proud and egotistical assuming everyone is after him.
I would recommend this book to anyone who likes this calm set mystery genre as it is fantastically done. If this genre isn't to your tastes then this isnt the book for you. Its filled with village life and its very quaint
