I loved this! Kane is intrigued by Eliana and makes a snap decision to step in to save her from her witch of a mother. This books has it all...sexy hero, steamy chemistry, and suspense all mixed into one great read that I could not put down!!!

Loved it! This book had it all...hot alpha baseball player, sweet sexy heroine, sex tapes, psychotic mothers and a romantic fake proposal. What more could a reader ask for? How about true heart warming attraction and ending with soulmates. This book could not get any better. Kane and Eliana are a couple that made it through every curve ball thrown at them. I highly recommend this book.

I am absolutely loving this baseball series.This one is about Kane Steele the first baseman for the Beasts.He spent one night with a porn star and didnt realize it until it is all over the newspapers.He is suppose to be staying out of trouble per his coach. While being yelled at by his grandmother who I abslutely love in this story, he runs into Eliana. He kindof stalks her to a resturant where she is having lunch with her evil yes I said evil mother. Due to some things that the evil mother says to Eliana Kane steps in and pretends that he is the amazing boyfriend that mother didnt know about. But you can see and feel from that moment on that there is going to be something between Eliana and Kane. I absolutely love the story from this point on. I love how no matter what happens Kane is there for Eliana. He is afraid to make things work with her because this is all suppose to be fake.But both of them cant fight what is right in front of them. Absolutely amazing chemistry between these two. I will not give away what happens in this book but there are some very tense moments that you absolutely have to read about to see if these two can make it through this fake relationship.I loved this book. It just like the others in this series had me hooked from the beginning holding on to the edge of my seat until the end. Amazingly written with a great plot was not fast paced but was not to slow that it did not keep you interested. Alice has done it again with this one. You will fall in love with Kane and Eliana and want more from them. I know I did.

I'm loving the Beasts of Baseball series. Winning Streak is the story of first baseman, Kane Steele, who in the opening pages, finds himself in the news for less than flattering reasons. The solution to his problems? A fake girlfriend to help turn around his image (and make grandma happy).
When the fake girlfriend suddenly becomes a fake fiancee and the feelings between them all too real, Eliana and Kane have their share of struggles and scandal to deal with before finding their way to the alter.
This was a great story and I can't wait for the next one.

Is this book anti-feminist? Is this one sexist? Or is it not? I have a hard time coming up with an answer.
Why?
First, our heroine is your typical damsel in distress who needs to be and is rescued by a white Knight, a Baseball player who is also a multimillionaire. Apparently, she cannot handle a mother who has no good bone in her body on her own. Yeah sure there is this whole finance issue so in a way, she really is dependant on her mom but after this b#tch tells her that the guy (you know who) didn't mean it that way, I was furious. Why would she put up with that?
Okay, then second, our hero pays for her. For everything. I guess that's fine if it's only for a while because she can't access her account but she doesn't even seem bothered by it.
Talking about money, she seemed like a grounded girl. Well until the guy with the huge paycheck came. I don't get why a woman who would never spend thousands on a dress, suddenly does just that. Why??!! Even if I myself earned a lot, I don't get why I would spend thousands on a dress that costs a few hundreds in other Stores... Talking about wedding dresses here, btw... Hate that...
Yeah other than that, I am glad that she said she guessed most girls picture their wedding dress. Thanks for the most but I wouldn't even be sure about that. I sure never thought about my wedding when I was a little girl.
But anyways, just some points that I had to think about...
What I loved, however, was the discussion of revenge porn, what it is, what it does to people and that it is highlighted as an issue in our society.
Writing Style?
Good.
Plot?
Interesting. But way too many sex scenes... Like really. Way too many.
They are pretty steamy, fyi.
The ending wasn't very satisfactory unfortunately... No clue what happens to Nana or to our MCs in some years...

Just okay
Story starts out ok but then gets ridiculous. The villains are patently obvious from early on and it's clear where the story is going to end up...and it takes too long to get there.
