This is the best manga, borderline best fictional book I have ever read. I’m not just talking about this volume but the ENTIRE damn series. It’s the closest thing we have gotten to perfection in writing

I really enjoyed this first omnibus; Urasawa conveys such character depth through a handful of panels and this draws you into the narrative with ease. The primary antagonist is the perfect combination of creepy and compelling and the central mystery has me wanting to read on immediately. Urasawa's admiration for Stephen King shines through, and so far this seems like the perfect place for fans of his work to start with manga.

Le début est un peu long, le temps que tout se mette en place, qu'on arrive à jongler entre les différents personnages et flashbacks mais j'ai été happée par la suite de ma lecture !
L'ambiance est un peu creepy, on ne sait pas trop où on marche et où on va et c'est vraiment très très intriguant...
Les flashbacks donnent beaucoup de vibes Stranger Things
J'ai particulièrement aimé le côté secte et j'ai hâte de voir vers quoi tout cela va nous mener
