Not great literature - but - interesting to learn from Helen herself about her life. Like many people, I know the story of the Miracle Worker - but not about Helen getting in to college, and her prolific writing.

Very interesting to hear about Keller's life from her own point of view. Will have to follow up with some other biographies to get other perspectives on her life--how they worked to communicate with her. Inspiring work!

Okay. So I didn't actually finish this book. Once my curiosity about how she managed to learn to do all of life's things, I just got bored. I was trying to push through to try and experience how her life was, however It was 800 long pages of references to things I knew nothing about and just gave up. Glad I got as far as I did though. She was an amazing woman.
