Usual stuff that bugs me about romances, mono-normative, 3rd act break up, yes one of the characters was bi but barely more than a mention. It has some really interesting bits and the smut was on point and consensual, but damnnn I need to write some romance of my own one of these days!

It Was Written in the third person which I don't really love and it fell short because it wasn't really what I was expecting when I read the synopsis. Not to say it didn't have a very important message it just was out of left field than what I thought was going to happen.

The book was meh. They didn't have that much tension or chemistry as i wanted the book didn't stand out and i am quite disappointed

binged read this book (stopped at chp 28 tho cause i could feel the third act break up and im not willingly losing sleep over stupid repetitive tropes like that but will be finishing it eventually). this said, this book was so fun!!!! so many things i love (the guy falls first, good + positive sex work rep, feminist characters, sex positive characters,… like this book is a dream!) i loved it, loved both main characters sm. it’s been a while i’ve loved an adult romance book this much (last time being rwrb 2 years ago). anyways need a guy like josh asap + will be re-reading in the future for sure
