Harlan Coben

So many twists and turns. Might be his first book, but certainly one of the best.

Wow, words cannot describe how bad this book is. And Coben himself even warned me at the beginning. Thank God I borrowed it from the library and didn't pay money for it. It actually starts off well, but it bogs down quickly and becomes implausible. By the end you just want all the characters to die. They're all that stupid - rich and beautiful, but white trash stupid. Coben's books have a tendency to let me down, although not to this extent. I think I have to break up with him now.

Easy read, good plot, plenty of twists and turns.

Not typical of other Harlan Coben books...Daft at times and strange dialogue. So why did I find it strangely addictive?

My first Coben novel and it won't be my last. I haven't read a lot of mystery novels. Now I think I will, certainly Coben's subsequent books. This was a good story with plenty of twists and turns. Yeah, okay it was his first novel and not his best writing but a good read nonetheless. I don't usually race through books, mostly because I read more non-fiction, but this kept me going at a good clip.
