There are so many reasons to be angry as a woman operating in a man's world. It is one of the hardest, most painful things to experience, but I am in awe of the female resilience. Still, I hope there might come a day when it's not longer needed.
A collection that validates every thought I have in my head about about my body, my comfort, my safety, and rape culture.
The collection challenges your thoughts on the topic and yells at you, "your experiences with rape culture do not have to be relative!"
A collection that is heavy and triggering, but a recommended read.
It also encouraged me to make sure those that I care about have the words, ability, empathy and all of that to discuss these topics in a helpful and healthy way.
I would love if this could be recommended reading for those that challenge every mention of rape culture/sexual assault/misconduct/predatory behavior.

What can you say about this book? It is touching. It is revealing. It is personal. It is universal. I saw myself in some stories. I have felt that it’s not a big deal, this is how men talk, that it’s “not that bad.”

A not-so-fun book but very impactful.
Really appreciated that every story was told by a different narrator. It made them all stand out from each other.
