'Cat & Cat Adventures: The Quest for Snacks' with story and art by Susie Yi is a graphic novel about two cats in search of a potion for endless snacks.

Squash and Ginny live in a home with their humans and all is well until they run out of snacks. Their plan to get more involves a portal and trips to the Mermaid Ocean and Mount Lava. When they get to the Enchanted Rain Forest they have to make a sacrifice, but can they do it.

This was a really cute story of two cats that are clever and funny. They also think about others and those are all good qualities for young readers. The art is as cute as the story.

I received a review copy of this graphic novel from HarperCollins Children's Books and NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. Thank you for allowing me to review this graphic novel.

(Series review) These books have adorable art and a lighthearted story that the kiddo loves. They’re cute, but hardly groundbreaking.

Gin and Squashy are my new favs! These adorable kittens just want to eat snacks! They go on an epic adventure making friends along the way and learning that fun was the real snack in the end. I love that Gin only has one eye, that cat has personality. I know the sequel will be nothing but cute too.

A fun and very sweet book for early readers. Ginny and Squash go on magical adventures through magical portals, meet new friends, and eat lots of snacks. A super cute book with adorable illustrations. I'll be recommending this one often to kiddos around 6-8 (and their parents/caregivers).

This is a super-cute series by Susie Yi about magical kitties! I love all three stories and the illustrations of all the different kitties are so great. Snacks are a very important reason to have a quest! They have different adventures and meet new friends. This is perfect for those starting to read chapter books/graphic novels and also if they like cats!
