I’m always pleased with the witty banter between Jane and her friends. I love how fiercely loyal they are to her, and that they will do anything for her. It’s nice to see that she has normal problems just like everyone else. Well, except that she has a stalker. But she has to deal with love matters like everyone.

I love that she is so supportive of Zeb’s family. She may make jokes, but she loves them and can’t wait to be an “aunt.” I think her mom is a bit more bearable in this book too. She’s not as annoying, but still gets in her business a little too much.

Love this series.

Audio book review.

Ooh, we all knew a psycho vampire ex had to turn up at some point! Not as strong of a story arc as the others, but I still love this addition to the series. No details from me whatsoever. I think everyone should go and read this series for themselves!! The voice this author has when speaking through her characters is so captivating!! The characters are hilarious and heartfelt! I love coming back to this town and hearing the latest gossip. Bring it on, Molly Harper! I'll read anything you write at this point.

Nice Girls Don't Live Forever begins a little bit after the second book ends. Jane and Gabriel took a vacation together, but it ended up turning out not as good as they would have liked. And after Gabriel being secretive, and hiding things Jane isn't sure if they are even still together. Now Jane has to deal with the Gabriel issue, along with trying to get her book shop together as well. And she may also be getting a stalker too. Add all this together and you get another awesome hilarious Jane Jameson book!

This book was really good. It had lots of humor, some romance and tons of crazy drama going on. I really felt bad for Jane when it came to the Gabriel issue. And I don't understand why he just wasn't honest with her to begin with. That didn't make much sense to me at all. Other than that I enjoyed the book very much! I also loved getting to see Jane and her sister work through some things even if it was pretty funny too! And getting to see the relationship between Dick and Jane grow was also very awesome! Now I can't wait to read more!

Jane's adventures continue and this time she's having trouble in her relationship with Gabriel. He has been keeping secrets and refusing to answer her questions, and what was supposed to be a fun trip for them around Europe, ends with them more or less broken up.

Jane returns home and puts all her energy into getting her shop up and running, and supporting her best friend while he freaks out about impending fatherhood, when she starts receiving threatening letters from a stalker who wants her to stay away from Gabriel.

Light and fun, with a supernatural cast facing everyday problems on top of their supernatural ones, like
Spoilera crazy vampire child stalking her sire and causing trouble for his loved ones
.

The series continues with a short story, [b:Nice Girls Don’t Sign a Lease Without a Wedding Ring|11860446|Nice Girls Don’t Sign a Lease Without a Wedding Ring (Jane Jameson, #3.5)|Molly Harper|https://images.gr-assets.com/books/1329026707s/11860446.jpg|16817072], but Andrea and Dick's story that started in the second book of this series is told in full in [b:Fangs for the Memories|25158742|Fangs for the Memories (Half-Moon Hollow, #4.5)|Molly Harper|https://images.gr-assets.com/books/1428196492s/25158742.jpg|44862249] and would be next chronologically.

Oh Gabriel. Don’t you know anything about girls, especially Jane? You should just tell her what’s going on instead of having her freak out and think your cheating on her – especially when you’re in a beautiful hotel room in Brussels. Quit with the over-protectiveness already.

As we begin the third of Jane’s tales, we discover that she may or may not have been dumped by Gabriel as she leave him in Brussels to deal with a break-in at the shop. She also has to help deal with Jolene’s impending pregnancy – werewolves are only pregnant for 5 months; deal with the only contractor who hasn’t been chased away from building Zeb & Jolene’s dream home by Jolene’s crazy werewolf family; and try to figure out who is sending her creepy, stalkerish letters. Very similar to the ones Gabriel was receiving whilst they were on holiday.

One of the funniest parts of the book is Jane’s foray into the town’s Chamber of Commerce. It’s overrun with a surprisingly large number of Stepford Wives-esque women named Courtney. They all have rather funny and sometimes slightly mean nicknames (Cankles Courtney, Head Courtney, Short Courtney, etc). You can imagine Jane’s surprise later on when her sister Jenny decides to join up as well.

Eventually Gabriel tells Jane everything, who is behind the crazy letters and why he was hiding it from her. (The usual, he was trying to protect her, but he was also feeling guilty about it.) There are a couple of showdowns in the book; one with Jane and Jenny – they finally work things out, in pretty spectacular (and funny) fashion. Jenny also punches Head Courtney in the face, which once you’ve read the novel you will she how badly she had that coming. The other showdown is between Jane and crazy stalker lady. Also Emery is involved and Andrea is kidnapped but if I go into specifics I will ruin it.

Again I would recommend these to people who like a little PNR mixed with humour and realistic characters.

Cute series. Quick read. This one was funny like the others, but the plot twist was so much better! Loved it.
