I loved every second of this book and I’m so mad it took me so long to get around to reading it. The characters were well developed and none of the conflict was contrived, which is often something that annoys me in romances.

3🌶️. The book had amazing tension with great spice. However, most of the spicy scenes are towards the last 1/3 of the book, but the build up is worth it.
I loved the characters and relatability. This gave the people pleasing side of me validation to read.
The representation in this book was awesome on all fronts from women in stem to those with medical ailments.
The banter/ humor was top tier. I laughed out loud way too many times while reading this and couldn’t put it down.
The academia setting was easy to fall into and gave the book great depth.

I really enjoyed reading this until I found out it comes from the same universe as Reylo fan fiction. Nothing against people who like that! I just don’t, and it ruined it a bit for me. Thanks for getting me out of my reading slump though!

I loved this book. I enjoy STEM romances and Ali Hazlewood as an author. This book is cute. While being contemporary romance it talks about struggles of women in stem. These books bring me joy.
