What a gorgeous graphic novel. Like both life and death, the story is gentle and brutal all at once. I loved the art and the symbolism and I heaved a big sigh and held this book to my heart when I finished it.

Oh, what a gorgeous graphic novel with lovely gradations of color. I really enjoyed watching the progression of Laila Starr and her understanding of what being alive could bring even though she came from a place of death in repetition.
