What a romp! And one with such heart and navigating important issues.

Not terrible, but I was really hoping that this book would be a lot better than the first (since I hadn't loved that one) but unfortunately it was much of the same.
Lila really makes the worst detective, and the mystery was too easy to solve, I just think if Lila is going to be that slow (and usually the LAST one) then the reader should also be in the dark until the end.
Another downer was how little of the Calendar Crew was in this one, and again I just wish that they had had a much bigger presence! So much could have been done with that colorful group of women but they mostly fell flat.
I will give the book props for trying to tackle PTSD, and the stigma around mental health!
