Great book!! This book has just enough miscommunication and character insecurities while not making them feel like teenagers fighting. I loved the conflict resolution, maturity, and communication that the main characters had throughout the book. Will definitely be reading the other two books in the series. Loved it!!

An interesting second chance romance (which usually isn't my thing) with strong characters who actually learn how to communicate and learn from their mistakes which is lovely.
Xavier and Violet were pretty sweet together and I liked how there were definite similarities and differences to how they interacted at 16 and now. They definitely grew while they were apart, Xavier in particular felt like more of a different character to his childhood self than Violet did. Xavier was considerate and thoughtful and quietly confident at times, his interests had changed but he was well loved within the community which felt like an important part of him. Violet was successful, strong and opinionated (in a good way) but it was lovely to see her grow and make time for different priorities so she didn't burn herself out. She was still successful and doing what she loved by the end, but there were more things she loved included in her life. I just genuinely enjoyed her as a character and the way she interacted with her friends, clients and family.
The setting suited the story but the town itself didn't really come alive. There were some memorable side characters as well and it was lovely to see more of Violets sisters and see hints for the next book with Iris and Angel.
Nicely written but ultimately second chance romances just aren't my favourite.

This was a very cute read.
I put off reading Book 2 after people saying it wasn’t as good as Book 1. But, I am pleasantly surprised.
This second chance romance had me smiling for the FMC/MMC. I was hoping we’d get an update from the FMC/MMC from Book 1 & was happy to have read that too.
Kristina Forrest’s books are a perfect read after reading a book that caused you stress, was heavy, boring, etc. They are always predictable but super sweet.
I’d recommend this series to my romance girlies who prefer their love stories with minimal spice.

Another good romance. I like the personal growth of the characters in this and the previous book. Looking forward to Iris' story

This series delivers! It was so good to be back in Willow Ridge. The Partner Plot, being the second book, follow Violet after the events of her love life mentioned in The Neighbor Favor, picking up (almost) right where we left off with the Greene sisters. This book, just as the prior one in the series, had me laughing at loud, and I just really enjoyed these characters’ stories. I love just how interconnected the stories of the Greene sisters is, the amount of detail that the author puts in about the family in general feels like following one long story, with a focus on specific characters in each book. It’s also fun to see the dynamics between the sisters, their family, and the greater community both in Willow Ridge and NYC.

Just when I thought I knew what was gonna happen next, Kristina Forest swerved! I love that for us. Violet and Xavier are both cute and annoying together. I love that the story starts with their High School romance because it really gives us a chance to see just how much they’ve matured in their 20s.
This book also adds more beyond the romance aspect through the couple’s experience back in their hometown. Their community and friends are a bigger part of their lives than they were in the first book.
I really enjoyed this story and the audiobook narrators did a fantastic job.
