Warning: Spoilers if you haven't read Carry On.
Love these characters - though I loved the first book more. It does seem to imply that there is another book coming, which I am really looking forward to. There were some other magical/mythical creatures introduced, which makes it a little hard to keep up, but in the end I did.
Another guilty read...and I can't wait for the next book in the series.

This book was entertaining and I like that it was written from a multi voice perspective. Fun and cheesy.
While I really really enjoyed this book and can't wait / hope there is a third to close up the cliff hanger ending, I felt that it wasn't as amazing as the first one. I think too that where I am in my life while reading it is different than before so that could have been a big factor in that but Rainbow Rowell doesn't disappoint and I gotta say I also can't get enough of Simon and Baz! So fingers crossed there is another. I also liked that the characters aged along with me - that was a fun find and made it that much more special to get to read a sequel after so long. Would recommend -- if you enjoy her writing!
Another good read for me. I loved exploring more of the magical world and seeing how language really forges magic speakers. Like the first one, though, it didn’t really drive home. Something was just lacking for me in the delivery of the plot. There was no drive. The characters were just swept along. Even in the final fight scene, there was just no coalescence. Still a super interesting world and I loved the introduction of Shepherd and some American fantastical world building.

I spent the first part of this book thinking I would hate it. Boring is the word that comes to mind which was utterly disappointing because I LOVED the first book. However, it picks up in a big way and I couldn’t put it down! Now I am impatiently waiting on book 3! I need to know what will happen next !
