Nothing new here, but I started in the morning and finished same day. Clearly, something about the book was pretty darn entertaining.
The lusting and yearning burns nice and slow until the last 60 pages before igniting. So many hot moments! All the layups were obvious but in a, "oh, yeah... that's definitely about to happen," kind of way.
But nothing really happens plot wise in the bulk of the middle of the book. It's more of a very slow and steady world-build with a little plot set up in the beginning and the end. It's weak story telling, so run the other way if that's what you're looking for. Otherwise, this has all the situational, romantic moments you might want in a nice, easy to digest package.
Who doesn't love a good, zesty popcorn book once in awhile?

This book made me ill. It was so slow the entire book until the ending which ends on a cliff hanger. I was bored most of the book. The plot was slow but easy to follow. It seemed like one of those books written with the intention of a sequel to sell more books instead of putting it all together.

I enjoyed it. There was a bit of strange twist to the end that I wasn't expecting and didn't make sense to me. Overall still a really good read!
