An intriguing dive into an extramly disfunctional, yet realistic family.

I loved this story so very, very much. It's was everything I thought it would be and yet so much more.
I'm excited to check out the rest of Troppers books now!! <3

A combination of a very sex-obsessed Friends universe and August: Osage County.
Jonathan Tropper is a talented writer, but I have a hunch this is not his best novel.

Very enjoyable read. It was hilarious at times (literally laughed out loud during my morning commute), sad at other times. Characters were likable and relate-able.
I think this is my favorite of Tropper's that I've read so far... It was slow to start but once I got about a third into it, I couldn't put it down. And despite it's serious subject and themes, I got a few really great laughs out of it. I also, again, appreciate that his books end without fanfare or a tidy bow.
I didn't really like any of the characters in this book. They were a group of very selfish and whiny rich people. All the feelings and all the angst. I was really hoping at the end the main character would game some perspective to all he had going for him and well he didn't.
