Meh. Was it bad? No. Was it good? No. It had some areas that could’ve been exploited but were missed

A decent quick read. This story starts off right in the middle of a complicated friendship with working relationships. I think this could have done with more tension as miscommunication wasn’t a trope explored (thank god).

A nice easy read that you knew the ending from the first few chapters. A cute dual POV for a cozy afternoon with a cup of tea, but nothing to make you get super invested.

I Hated You First by Rachel John

I went looking for light and fluffy romcom and this delivered!

3.5/5⭐️

•My Blurb•
Clay and Lauren have always hidden their feelings for each other behind sarcasm and snark. Their lives are so intertwined; they work together, Clay is her brother’s best friend and he’s practically a part of the Harwood family. Admitting there are feelings between them feels extremely risky but a forced double blind date brings out all kinds of emotions. Clay and Lauren need to decide if a relationship between them is worth all the risks and challenges that will come their way.

•My Thoughts•
This was a feel good, sweet romcom with likeable characters packed into a super-short-but-not-quite-novella package. I enjoyed the slow burn and the pining. The tension between the two characters was fun and while not quite an enemies to lovers, it had those same bantery vibes. I had a little trouble with the quick relationship status change but they’d crushed on each other for so long, it did make sense for the story. Absolutely some funny moments and I’d definitely read more of this author. This definitely saved my from my romantasy slump I was sliding towards and was the pick me up I needed!

Short ANF a quick read

Short ROM com. I did not think k it was going to be an instant love type deal but I was wrong. I just don't understand how you could know a person for years but from the outside then love them a week later.

Okay rant over, good book. Liked the author. Pretty sure I will continue with the series.

Ohhh mama! Such a cute book...

Clay has this innocent vibe going for him that makes him so swoon worthy.... He is polite, helpful and kind. You can feel the sadness and the helpless feeling he feels when initially he isn't given any of the shares...

A very well written book! Loved it!

HEAVY Mormon vibes from this extremely tame romance book. If you can even call it that. The writing was horrific and so childish. Much like twilight, you get the overzealous religion aspects and that’s extremely annoying in a “romance”. Wish I could give it zero stars honestly.
