❝I was already aware your skin gets red and blotchy when you exercise. Especially your neck. It happens when you get mad at me too, like right now. I don't get under your skin. I get on your skin.❞

My first book on my brand new Kindle!
Adored the snappy, realistic narrative of I Hated You First. I did find that I preferred Lauren’s POV over Clay’s as I felt like she had much more personality. At times, I was unsure whether actions from Clay were cute or creepy, which probably changed my opinion on him since that part.
The characters were well distributed with unique personalities, absolutely love the Harwood bunch! I think my favourite had to be Melissa, she was very realistic and would make such a great best friend! I’m excited to read Jenny’s story, as you can see at the end of the novel.
The perfect slow burn of (sort of) enemies to lovers, more like hate to love, with amazing comedy and witty banter throughout. I was nervous to read a childhood friends to coworkers, where the job part was a huge part of the story, but it worked really well!
Please read if you love (sort of) enemies to lovers, slow burn, clean romance, wit and humour, dual POV, childhood friends to coworkers, big families, mutual pining, brother’s best friend, secretly crushing on best friend’s sister, an all round cute and short love story

Just your typical forbidden romance. It was too cute not to love. Can’t wait to read the other books in this series!
i liked the idea of the story
But it was hella rushed towards the end
I needed more angst
Better luck next time :(

Cute premise but shallow
I wanted to like this book but over all it was shallow. There is no hate felt between the leads just distance and even when they start dating there is no character growth of change that makes their relationship feel special.
