Wonderful book about life that makes you sit back and think about all the good things and bad humans have done to each other and the planet.

The description makes this book sound a bit more like a comedy, but it turned out darker than I expected. Check the content warnings. Very good though. Looking forward to reading Matt Haig's other books.

This is honestly one of the best books I've read in awhile. I read most of it over a couple of plane rides, and I could barely put it down. It has just the right mix of humor, sci-fi, romance, and contemporary fiction, and has something for just about everyone. The characters are (mostly) likable, but also feel very real (even the alien narrator!). And there's a dog who you'll instantly fall in love with.

Overall, 4.75 for the slightly rushed ending, but phenomenal otherwise. A decent length read that makes you think about life and love, and what it means to be human.

This book has a bit of everything: funny and lighthearted, but also sad and emotional. I think the way you read it might depend a bit on your own state of mind at the time

Very enjoyable
