When I first got this book , I thought it was gonna be full of some Indian Guru advice on life but by reading it and finding out it's about mental health and bipolar disorder it kinda gave me some flashbacks about my life last year. I was so lost and wanted to give up on life .I tried to commit suicide too but when I look back at all of it right now , sometimes I wonder how I survived all of that . Sometimes you just realize that happiness is right there in front of you and you don't have to make life so complicated. Overrall I loved it and I am happy Ankita found solace . Abhi was a pyscho who needed help ,but it kinda hurt when he killed himself because he was rejected .
A brisk 1.5 hour read. My guess was it was going to be a YA romance novel. which it is in bits and pieces but the bigger theme it tries to capture is that of mental illness and how irrelevant we as a society think of it in contrast to the importance it should get.
The protagonist felt well sketched out initially but once she goes down hill in her own eyes, the story tends to stretch into monotonous repetition. This book is what you can make of it.

At the start i did not think i would like it and that changed quickly as i finished it all in just one sitting as an overall experience the book was great the charaters were nice but didnt cover much bg and thus connecting felt a little weak another thing that i didnt like was that everytime something was about to happen it was mentioned in the previous chapter now i like a little preview but everytime seems a little bad to know what will be going down, i love cliffhangers so just give that to me drop it low i dont mind that, other than that the book was superemely motivating and nice to read.
A very good read. I found it hard to sympathize with the main character in the beginning. I found her arrogant and selfish by the way she acted with her first boyfriend and her friends. But the part with her psychological breakdown and recovery felt very real and often felt very bad for her.
A well written book. would recommend!!

It was really good, engrossing and really appealing at times. I cant say its one of the best books i've read but I think everyone should try reading at once.
It shows how life can turn in a moment but its always in our hands to come out of any misery...
I think it could have had a much better ending.

This book is about a girl named Ankita who is beautiful, confident and was art secretary or her college. her love and college life was fun and then after 6 months she was in mental hospital. The book is about her life's ups and downs... literally.
I loved to see the indian college life and all the fun festivals which we have, they are described really well. Ankita's love life was also very happening like in movues and then things go bad and it affects mentally and emotionally. here in India we still dont talk about emotions and mental health so thats what happens with her and she keeps on going with her life and try to excel in her studies.
She starts having high and low episodes, first the doctors also thought that its depression but later they diagnosed that its bipolar disorder which is way worse.
we get to see her journey though mental hospital, how they treat patients first with medicines and treatment and then with helping them going back to normal life with small and simple things. We never get to see all these things in movies.
This book talks about the disorder, the treatments, people's mentality and much more. A very well written ,meaningful book.
