didn't love this as much as I thought I would. for such a short book, it was intensely repetitive. and the fact that there is literally no genuine character growth until the last 20ish minutes was so shocking that when it happened I had to pause to make sure I heard it right. and I enjoy complex characters, even those who are self sabotaging, but this just dragged on. ultimately I'm just left disappointed
