I didn't love this quite as much as "Everyone in This Room Will Someday Be Dead", but I was just as immersed in it and found it just as relatable. There were some parts that fell flat for me - for example, the ending, because one of the mysteries get solved literally a few pages away from the end -, but overall, I enjoyed it a lot.
Graphic: Bullying, Mental illness, Panic attacks/disorders, Abandonment
Moderate: Homophobia, Suicidal thoughts, Lesbophobia
Minor: Self harm, Sexism, Death of parent, Fire/Fire injury

things i love about this:
- enid insisting that she’s weird and awkward but having perfectly normal conversations
- alternatively, enid having insane conversations with people and people loving her as she is
- enid thinking she’s fundamentally broken and being taught that she is not
- but also! her recovery is not just based on the people around her but is deeply intrinsic
idk man i just love enid and her space facts and now i am crying

A strange and compelling visit to the inner life of a young woman on a journey of growth as she struggles with paranoia and dysfunctional family. I wish I had read this instead of listened because the audiobook narrator almost ruined it for me. i had a hard time with her voice inflections.

This was incredible OCD representation. I’m unsure if the main character was also supposed to be autistic, but wither way her tendencies (in conjunction with her obsessions and compulsions) can be interpreted as autistic. It was well-done. As someone who is a Lesbian, has a space special interest, OCD and autism….I felt unnervingly seen. The pacing of the novel was a bit slow, but even still once I sat down to read it I completely devoured it. I loved this book and the journey it takes the character on.
