Loved this. Read the whole book in two days. The whole time I thought it was so similar to a book I read a while ago only to get to the end and realize I read everyone in this room will some day be dead years ago

Someone else in their review wrote that this book is partially inspired by Souvenir by boygenius… so yeah.
If there is one thing in the world I love, it’s driving listening to an audiobook. And I loved this one.
The protagonist is afraid of being a bad person, afraid of her soul being a little evil parasite, afraid of things she can’t remember, and afraid of relationships and love. Cool & relatable if you ask me!!!! To top it off, she watches YouTube videos of herself as a teenager, listens to true crime, and learns facts about space to self soothe. Cool!
This book is really funny and really relatable, and I appreciate the journey she goes on to try and be “normal,” or figure out what the hell is going on in her brain. It also reminds me to have self compassion and not be so afraid of everything. So yeah, great book.

i can not stop thinking about this book i honestly have never loved a book so much …. i think emily austin used a scalpel to open my brain and pluck out every single intrusive thought i’ve ever had and put it into a book. i will be talking about this book for the rest of my life it was SO GOOD
