Tore through this, which felt good cause I haven't been reading a lot recently. Gobble gobble.

I read Everybody in This Room Will Someday Be Dead earlier this year and liked it but didn't love it. The two books are super similar, but I like this one more for some reason. I think this one tied things up in a neater bow, and ended most storylines on a more hopeful note. I also cared more about the story in this one. Just a tighter plot, I think! And the protagonist was (or, became) slightly more self-aware in this one, which I appreciated.

I realize this is a story-telling device but it was almost comical how frequently the main characters just ran into each other out at the thrift store / pharmacy / grocery store. Take me to this smalltown-city.

I absolutely loved this book! Hopefully I’m not the only one who finds Enid a very relatable character!

the awkwardness of the main character is refreshing and relatable.
