Slow paced overall; easy to get lost in the weeds of past and present and the novel-within-the-novel. Could have been 200 pages shorter for sure.  That being said, the last 100 pages had me totally invested, and it leaves you wanting more. Impressively found a way to tie in little details to all come together after all the twists and turns.

So good, so easy to read. Lengthy for the setup, but it's worth it in the end.

Absolutely adored this book, I loved how the chapters dipped between the past and current year, as well as the book excerpts. The story was fantastic, and it kept me guessing until the end. A couple of twists I had guessed but definitely not all of them.

Perfect ending as well for the main character, a very wholesome read!

Should have been at least 200 pages short. Also, anyone else read between the lines that Nora was the one who smothered her baby with a pillow but kept saying everyone else had done it instead?
