Disclaimer: Not going to be the standard review, there was just too much importance here for me to just put it into an easy flowing template for the world to glaze over.

How can I sum up this book in ten words or less?

The best stories will live in the reader's heart forever.

Couldn't get as excited about this as I did about the other two books in the series. Still fun, but... ultimately just very weird.

I wish all series were as punchy and fun as this one: https://blogendorff.ghost.io/book-review-the-causal-angel/

Nice ending to the whole story. By nice I mean short and succinct, and it's an ending I've read before in other fantasy books. But the nice thing about this book is how everything comes together and how the concepts work. It's not only about the main story. Every little word has a story behind it, a philosophy of science, and maybe even quantum concepts that are not developed or explained but they give you enough of a reference to search more about them. And once you understand what the concept means in quantum physics, it opens the gate to more possibilities in the story.

Series so inventive and far reaching, it feels like a mixature of hard scifi and fantasy. It works beyond what I could have ever imagined before starting to read this magnificent story about Jean and his friends. One of the best series of books I have ever read, so happy I stumbled upon this gem. First amazing scifi book from Finnish writer that I have read.

I was trying to make it through this book, but realized I was just not enjoying it. The characters are interesting, the overall plot is interesting, however the pacing is slow and I started to feel like I was being read a text book.

The culmination of the Jean le Flambeur trilogy absolutely sticks the landing.

The final song builds steadily to a crescendo, melding futuristic speculations with classic adventures. The minutiae remain barely comprehensible if you look too closely, but the ideas and concepts remain as fresh and fascinating and fun as ever.

Everything is impressively wrapped up, and in a manner that I didn't see coming, even mere pages before the end -- but which makes complete sense in retrospect. Impressive indeed!
