I am so glad I am still at the David Raker party. I've just had my welcoming glass of fizz and nibbles and now I am eager to continue the party.
Tim Weaver is such a brilliant author. His books are compulsive, unpredictable and take you on awesome journeys.
Another cracking installment in this unputdownable series. The cliffhangers are so good. The moment you find out how things get taken forward in the story was jaw droppingly brilliant. Such fantastically crafted and well developed characters. I really feel like I am on every page and it takes a skillful author to do that, to really draw you into the depths. Did I really want to follow David Raker into the London underground to discover all kinds of dark deeds going on? Of course I did. Wonderful idea to set this in the dark, mysterious world of the underground system. There must be so much going on down there.
And what an ending....you really do have to read the next book.

Občas mě Raker strašně frustruje. Taky mám u posledních pár desítek stránek pocit, že by to klidně mohlo být o dost kratší. Ale čte se to dobře. :)

Another good thriller from Tim Weaver. I've really enjoyed all his David Raker books and cannot wait to get my teeth into the next one!
