Story was great. The usually superb Susan Erickson was not as crisp and clear in this performance. Several times throughout I could not discern which character was speaking as they began to sound alike. That disrupts my enjoyment as I have to take a second to figure out which character is saying/doing what.

This one was freaky - an absolute bloodbath, but in the worst way I can even imagine... this new drug that can be released in a building and causes everyone who breathes it in to go nuts, killing everyone around them. The poor victims aren't just killed, they are made to kill people they know, love, who just happen to be present with them. Even for the survivors, it is just life-destroying.

Eve leading the team to hunt down the responsible party, and man I was on pins and needles throughout, worried she or someone on her team would be exposed to this drug.

Yet another fantastic instalment from JD Robb I absolutely loved it. Eve was back to full force but at the same time it was great to see her slightly vulnerable. To see Roarke frustrated and hurting too was a great touch. I believe them as a couple so much and I root for them at every step. There is a great scene with Eve and Peabody, I won't spoil but for me was one of my favourite all time moments between the pair of them. The takedown at the end was inspiring and makes me want to be part of their world so bad.

Delusion in Death deals with a drug that causes a certain type of violent psychosis on unsuspecting people going about their business to the point where they start killing everyone within their vicinity.

This touched the Urban Wars a bit, it was interesting to delve into the infamous wars of this book.

One thing you are guaranteed with J.D Robb is that the book will be worth your read.

Eve Dallas is just as smart, hard and sassy with Peabody providing the undertone of comic relief. Well written as all her previous books, this is a good read for everyone who wants a good, solid, crime fighting novel that's well written and the plot is well thought out.
