This has been my favorite of the three volumes thus far. All of the family drama and workplace drama that was intimated earlier in the story are starting to blossom. In addition to the body horror, now there are some interesting cosmic horror elements. I'm looking forward to the conclusion.

The roots just keep getting more and more tangled. I'm starting to understand Monica more and hate Jedidiah too. Not sure where the story will go from here.

mysterious

Most of the plot points that have been dangled in front of us for the last two volumes fall into place, I'm looking forward to seeing how it all ends.

All the history of the plot unfolded and explained pretty neatly. I wasn't completely satisfied, though. Felt like Rob decided he wasn't going to finish the tale here, so the ending was pretty anticlimactic. And the source of the baddiness was pretty loose and weak. I would have preferred it had been more character-based.

I don't think I'll read a fourth volume if one comes out but I liked it on the whole. I will probably go back and try Chew again as I really liked Rob Guillory's style.

Loved the next installment of Farmhand. It continues to be a creepy/ gross sci fi adventure.

Still wish we'd get more into the guts of it, rather than talking about getting into the guts of it. But we made more plot progress this time and I'm fully invested!
