A man reads the letters that were written by his parents during WW II. Their love story is very sweet and I really did enjoy the differences between his parents - Bob so deeply in love and Jean a bit more reserved.
Even though the play ends (it's less than 2 hours) it does feel like some things are left unsaid in the letters.

Spoiler
The fact that the couple waited three years to be together only for her to die forty years later. (I know that's a long time, but it made me sad.) And he lives another thirty years.notmollie's review
