The story of Zane and Enzo continued (insert sigh). These two have been fun to read about. The insta-love was a bit much in the first story, but, as you go through the series, it makes more sense.
I thoroughly enjoyed all these couples and was happy for each HEA.

Finale of the NY Stonewall books finally sees the Unicorn case being solved and wow! What a ride! Zane and Enzo are planning their wedding and with Collin’s murder, it seems the Unicorn is getting bolder in his taunts of Zane. An ex of Enzo’s is stalking him and Zane is working to trace any leads he can on both Enzo’s ex and the Unicorn so when the Unicorn leaves word for Zane to leave Enzo unless he wants to see him dead, things spiral.

Reasons I Recommend:

1) I love it when authors revisit old characters and we get to see a second (or more) book telling us their story and this was in more ways than one because of Zane’s past

2) Mystery, suspense, wedding planning stress, and stalkers with some great moments thrown in like the massage table, the kitchen, and Zane’s office and

3) A much needed HEA for not only Zane and Enzo but for Stonewall Investigations.

And the soap opera continues....

Once again, I enjoyed the narration. Greg Boudreaux adds some spice to the characters and the story. This series appealed to me because I am a fan of mysteries with a dash of romance. This series was a romance with a tiny dash of a mystery involving a serial killer. Again, this was mostly a romance. I didn't find the serial killer to be terribly intimidating, and the mystery wasn't really much of a mystery.

If you want a romance story that is packed with melodrama and a dash of mystery, this will be an entertaining adventure.

While Zane & Enzo are prepping for their wedding, Zane is also hiding that he took on the unicorn case. Can their relationship and their lives survive it? I did not expect the killer to be who it was. A great round up of the unicorn case. I didn't feel like the relationship aspect subtracted from the story. It is a nice finale.

Okay so remember how i said walker doesn’t mess around with miscommunication?? Apparently omitting some facts of certain actions doesn’t count….😅 i was very mad at my boi for doing that. But Enzo♥️ amorcito gave a good talking to Zane!! Ah! I had noticed in bookclub boys how i was just as invested in the mystery plot as i was for the romance ❤️‍🔥 and it’s just as true in this book!! I could not figure out where it was going and was so scared!! But i really like just how much Max adds into a story whether it be a medium or small size book!! Will definitely continue his works.
