It’s fun but I felt the balance of fluff and meaty characterization was off these volume. I still liked if but thought the first volume was better.

A pretty fun international romp; resonated much more with me than the first volume. Hampered by some segments being overly reliant on reference humor, the lack of clear communication of where things are when they are in Tokyo, and the weird, blobby, i guess “off-model” art that starts to crop up towards the end.

A good enough follow-up to volume one. The art is still great, even when the artist changes near the end. Calling back to the whole run of the series was cute and nonsensical, but managed to still fit in with the tone and story. One minor issue I had, and an issue that I had with the previous volume as well, is that sometimes, the sequence of panels seems jarring and the relation of one panel to the next is unclear, narratively. But, that's fine. It's an oddball comic so not really any harm done. My big complaint is about Melody. Whereas in volume one she was actually smart, as part of her character ("Does no one else in this comic besides Alexandra and I read?"), in volume two, her intelligence is moved to her subconscious, and she apologizes for it. Her inner nerd is swapped out for a tendency towards violence, which, while funny, is inconsistent. I love Melody's character, and I was hoping to see a little more from her in volume two. Instead, she was robbed of her interesting dimension and turned into a force of chaos. I loved this volume, but I just wanted the story to pay more attention to the characters it insists it's developing.

The other volume seemed to have more of a cohesive storyline, this one just hopped around. The art style was still great.

Ok, so this comic tackles some extremely important things, of which women‰ЫЄs empowerment is only the tip of the iceberg.

Like the first volume, this was so much fun! Recommended.

I love that this book never takes itself too seriously.

I wasn't a fan of volume one, but decided to pick this up just to finish the story. As much as I like Josie & the Pussycats (and the modern Archieverse) this title has a weird tone that just doesn't work for me.
