The numerous depictions of violence are very difficult to get through. They are understandably there to show us what humans are capable of, but that still doesn't make witnessing it any easier.
But even when you think you can’t take any more, you have to admit that the way Cormac writes is mesmerizing. Every word, every description has its place.

I reached a sentence talking about the environment—where everything is desert and plain, making everything equal—and how in this place humans and rocks have a kinship, and it made me think: reading this is worth it.

simply wow, one of the best books ive ever read. I must read again next year so I can learn more things and study it more carefully. Could read it a hundred times and still find something new. The judge is one of the best characters in fiction that ive seen, so far.
