Father was killed by a mugging gone wrong via gun. Mother has schizophrenia and has been hospitalized. An ex boyfriend was in past relationships where he turned violent and raped his significant others. Multiple occasions where people are under extreme influence of alcohol in one instance they were stalked and threatened with rape.

It's just pure smut. It's not bad smut. The author goes into major descriptions of the sex scenes but that's it. I would only read the other two of her roommate is more present in the series because everyone here is blonde with blue eyes.
