DNF around 30%. Second of the year! I couldn't get into it at all and I never want to pick it up. I'm bored and I don't really care about the characters. I loved the premise and I wanted to enjoy it, but it may be too heavy for the state of the world, my to do list, and everything else going on with me now. I miss wanting to pick up a book so I'm excited to give up, even though it took me over a week to convince myself to throw in the towel.

It's a meh time travel story with a lot of interesting ideas that weren't tied together very well. I also found the authors self insert meta narrative jarring and poorly incorporated into the story
