I dig the marriage here of poetry and information. The art is wonderful, and I could see using this for several purposes, including as a text in an early elementary unit on the water cycle.

What is water and what is it used for? Water is a precious commodity. This book explains on a very basic level where water comes from, how it is used, and how all life on Earth requires it. The text flows along with the abstract illustrations, becoming part of the art.

This is a simple book about the water cycle with bright colors and quirky text placement that goes in spirals and swirls to imitate water. The illustrations reminded me of Eric Carleās style with bright colors and white background.

Love the art! The story is a really simple introduction to the importance of water. Great for little littles.

Absolutely stellar! Artwork and text are a perfect, playful match. A great choice for earth day, science units on water or conservation, poetry time, or anytime for a read-aloud.

I love that this explanation of the water cycle is more a celebration of life, poetry, and art then science. But by the time you follow the flow of water through the pages, you will have learned the science too!

I probably wouldn't use this in storytime but the teachers do have environmental themes on occasion so I'm definitely going to add this to the outreach collection...

An interesting way to talk about the water cycle and how all water is connected. My kiddo found it a bit abstract at times and I had to explain some bits but we liked the artwork and overall story.
