Their beginning was creative. The stress for him to touch her was real and I loved that icicle scene

How is Dani the innocent one in this relationship? Sweet Dani has never been able to touch a man because it causes unbearable pain. So of course she gets paired with the rake of the vampire brothers.
The MMC just pissed me off 90% of the book. No acknowledgment of what she sacrificed from the beginning, no awareness of needs other than his own. There’s a rake and then there are men who hate women. Take a wild guess which one he is?
They both grew throughout the book, but I just wanted better for Dani. Like literally anyone else.

Spice: 3/5

Triggers: cheating, violence

"What if Daniela had married Jádian? Murdoch's fangs sharpened. Then she'll become a widow."

I really liked this book, but their relationship didn't really make sense at times and I'm not sure about the purpose of this book. Nevertheless, I loved Daniela!

I don't know... I found the "no we can't touch" thing to be a replay of the one with the ghost. There's only so many times the different characters can repeat all the same types of actions and phrases before you can't tell them apart. At least there was no mention of "some-some" or "crayfish" that I can remember.
