This was really nice! I didn't vibe with the art style at first but it grew on me quickly, especially with the humor and relatability. The fact that this was made by a webcomic creator explains the pacing. It was maybe a bit fast, like each topic flew by. Not inherently bad but I'd have liked to sit in the topics a little longer.

Helpful portrayal of racism.

 Maybe it's because I read a lot of graphic novels but I just didn't think this was anything especially great. Nothing inherently wrong, maybe it's the art style?

this book was cute!! definitely wished some of the stories were expanded upon more and it was fast-paced for me, but I enjoyed the format of a memoir as a graphic novel because I needed a BREAK from my other readings (college life is fun but not for the faint of heart as a humanities major). I'd give this a 3.75/5 stars :)
