What an incredibly touching story and what a great adaptation. I have not even seen the film yet, but the beauty and intensity of every moment jumps from the page in this manga. I smiled and I bawled and that is exactly why I wanted to read this.

It is a wonderful story about being different and belonging to two worlds. How each must make their choice. It is about the hardship of single parenting and the beautiful struggle of letting your kids grow up and/or letting them go.

I wholeheartedly recommend this manga.

Same beautiful story and characters as the original movie, but while the movie was a solid 5 out of 5 for me, this manga adaptation was more of a 4.25. The art style doesn't sit so well with me here, and the pacing is naturally not quite as gripping as in the original film format, but I am glad to have read it, in the end.

Wolf Children: Ame & Yuki is a beautifully written story featuring love and loss, motherhood, growing up, the joy, and grief of life, finding oneself, and more. It's truly a must-read and a story that will stay with me. I can definitely see myself rereading Wolf Children: Ame & Yuki, and it is a favorite.

Phenomenal, heart-wrenching, and a positive joy to read. I highly recommend this to anyone who enjoys family oriented slice of life manga with a melancholy tone and a bittersweet ending.
